Degree Overview

Computers affect every part of our lives. Technology is rapidly evolving, and the need for computer scientists to work across almost every industry continues to grow.

During this degree, you’ll work at the cutting-edge of technology. You will develop machine learning algorithms, web applications, and multi-platform games. You’ll learn how to use technology to find solutions that can change lives worldwide.

You’ll become part of an exciting and innovative environment, working with real-world organisations to create applications from requirements gathering to final product. We work closely with industries on a local and international level to ensure that the topics you study are practical and relevant. You’ll put this experience into practice through short-term summer work placement modules.

You’ll gain an understanding of the theoretical, scientific, and mathematical components of computing. This includes:

algorithms for data processing and analysis
software engineering principles and practices
interactive entertainment and games programming
You’ll also learn about software development, physical computing, and data management. You’ll gain an understanding of various programming languages, including Java, C++, and C#.

We are members of the Amazon Web Services Academy and the GitHub Global Campus. During your degree, you will be taught by AWS Accredited Educators, GitHub Campus Experts, and Agile Scrum Masters.

International Stage One

The International Year One is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a UK, EU or US University but do not meet the The IS1 is the first year of a four year International Incorporated Bachelors. And its designed to strengthen your English language abilities and introduce core concepts and knowledge required at university study level.  Once you have successfully completed your studies you will continue the remaining stages of your degree directly with the University of your choice.

International Stage Two

The International Stage Two is the perfect pathway if you want a undergraduate degree from a Scottish University but do not meet the requirements for direct entry.

The IS2 course provides an intensive combination of first year University subject modules with English language skills.

Following successful completion of the IS2 you will continue onto your second year degree study directly with the University of your choice.
