Pre-Master's - Health and Science

The Pre-Master’s (IIM) in Health and Science is designed to help international students with a qualifying diploma move directly onto the final year of a DMU degree course. Depending on your academic qualifications, the Pre-Master’s course can be studied over two terms.

Course overview

The International Incorporated Master (IIM) Health Science supports international students who wish to progress to their postgraduate studies at De Montfort University (DMU) by joining the IIM, which upon successful completion, allows them to progress onto their chosen Master’s degree programme. The 2-term programme provides an academic bridge into the master’s year for students whose prior education would preclude direct entry into the standard master’s year in a general science-based postgraduate degree at DMU. Joining IIM Health Science at DMUIC provides these students with the opportunity to develop their academic study skills and core critical research skills in a range of appropriate 15-credit modules
