Pre-Master's - University of Bradford International College

The Pre-Masters is offered over one or two terms and is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to the masters programmes at the university,

The Pre-Masters is offered over one or two terms and is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to the masters programmes at the university, this could be because of the grades achieved in your bachelor degree; your current qualifications are not equivalent to a UK bachelor degree or because you have a different background.

After successfully completing the Pre-Masters you will continue onto you chosen postgraduate degree course at the University of Bradford.

During the IFY you will:

  • Study at the university campus
  • Have full access to the university amenities and student benefits

English Language Requirements

Course English Language Requirement
One term IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component
Two terms IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component
One term +6 week Pre-Sessional English IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.0 in each component, except writing which must be 5.5
Two terms +6 week Pre-Sessional English IELTS 4.5 with no less than 4.0 in each component
Two terms +12 week Pre-Sessional English IELTS 4.5 with no less than 4.0 in each component
